We love music. I mean, we REALLY love music. All kinds of music. Even (especially?) school band music. And since this company is not about getting rich (as hard as we work, that is not likely anyway), and is privately owned, this provides us with a great opportunity to actually make a difference. And, to be honest, our founder has just recently re-discovered his passion for music after leaving it behind for almost four decades, and he wants to share that passion with others. So, after a bunch of research, we have picked a charity to receive, at minimum, 10% of our profits. Now that may be $10.00 or (wouldn't it be nice) $10 million. But whatever it is, this charity is going to get it. Who did we pick?
The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education. Founded in 1997, VH1 Save The Music was the first organization in existence dedicated to restoring music programs in America's schools. For nearly 20 years, the foundation has donated over $53 million worth of new musical instruments to 2,024 public schools in 247 school districts around the country to date -- impacting the lives of more than 3 million public school students.
To further support these efforts, we will be selling "I'm With The Band" t-shirts of various attractive designs. 100% of the profits from these t-shirt sales will go to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
